Japanese food has become very popular around the world. It is delicate, healthy and delicious. Not only Sushi, Tempura, but there are plenty of other Japanese food – home style cooking, which I would like to share with you.

I am very much fascinated with delicate beauty of Wagashi – Japanese confectionery made typically with bean paste. They are traditionally served at the tea ceremony or important seasonal events.  The seasons and nature are incredibly important to Japanese and they have found their way into the motifs of Wagashi.  Although ingredients are very simple -mostly plant based ingredients-, Wagashi can express the subtleness of nature and passage of seasons.
